rev 3 rear light mod "UPDATED"

ok guys i've just tinted my rear corner triangle peices red, like the usdm ones..!! with this.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/E-Tech-Multi-Ligh ... 7C294%3A30
and they do look pretty good, so i was wondering has anyone done the indicator part yet..??and what it looks like. i reckon it would look pretty good all red across the back..does it still flash orange..?? or maybe need orange bulb..!!

It would look good, but to pass the MOT you need to show amber indication light, most testeres wont pass unless you have clear/ orange lenses.

im not sure if that is entirely true mate, as this pic shows a clio stock red lens...



i think its only gotta flash orange. so tinting them red and putting an orange bulb in may do the trick..!!

well i did the indicators aswell today.. not sure how they will fair up with the mot or the plod, although they do flash orange.. "kinda"

cheers guys.. the only thing is though .. is it legal..?? that is the question.
it does flash orange, but how orange does it have to be. ?? i think the plod would be ok, but not sure on the mot.

If it don't seem to flash orange enough, you could try putting in some brighter LEDs that are orange?

Lenses don't have to be orange, red and white. You get clear ones, as long as they have the correct red reflecters and coloured bulbs you should be fine Oh, and obviously e-marked!

Find a nice garage they will always sort you out

Clear laquer from halfrauds Couple of coats will help stop fade

yeh right mate i put about 4 coats on too.. i also used orange bulbs..!!
as for the mot i dont need to worry till feb 2010
