2 little jobs done, New wheels are here and fitted and the dark red stripe is no longer dark red!

I had originally thought the wheels were 8.5" all round but they're actually staggered so 7.5 up front ET32, 8.5 at the business end ET38.

I'm pretty pleased with them, they're way wider than the standard wheels and really fill the arches
and its sitting at a nice height too. Well the rear is but the front definitely needs to come down so that'll be done soon too.

Next is get the cat sorted, tried to make a pipe from the flanges on the cat but they're rotten so need to buy one.

Will also be doing some more painting this week sometime if it heats up a bit!

I'm gonna actually go darker with them, like a gunmetal colour.

De-cat fitted which has transformed the sound of the Mongoose to a deeper growl and a little boost in power too!
Well pleased.

I sold it because we had a baby and it wasn't practical at the time.
Wasn't a tubby either, just a tubby engine lid.

Dropped by -40mm on a set of 2nd hand springs of unknown origin and standard shocks.
My front top mounts have seen better days so they'll need done at some point but they're not the worst I've ever seen.

Getting a little rub on full lock but thats down to the tyre profile at the front as it was rubbing before I lowered it.
I plan to drop to a 45 profile tyre from the current 50 profile so that should fix that.
