Good MOT test station near Edinburgh

Hi Guys,

I am due my 2nd MOT on my MR2 after covering about a 1000 miles since the last one, so wondering if anyone has a recommendation on a good MOT place near Edinburgh?

I have had a few in the past that just nit pick to get some money as opposed to being honest about the condition of the car.

you could try Hypertech in Bonnybridge, see if they do MOT's?

I always take mine to Simpsons Garage, just off Piershill Terrace, near Jock's Lodge pub.

He's pretty damned thorough with mine, and has been working on it whenever it's needed for the last 2 years so he knows his way around them. Last time he was even cool enough to let mine pass the noise test with a decatted non-bunged Nur-Spec.
