Post by jimross19 »

hi guys im jim a bit of a noob i had my 1990 rev1 3sge dynod today they couldnt tell me what is was as the fly but at the wheels it was kicking out 139.8hp and torque was 121.00 is there a way to convert that to what it is at the fly wheel ?
is that good or bad for a na? its had a new japspeed manifold decated and a blue flame exhaust. is there anything eles i can to to improve on this? :thumleft:

that's a healthy at wheels figure for a near 20yo motor. Dunno much about tuning the n/a's but I wouldn't worry about flywheel figures

i believe that's around the figure they had at the wheels on rev1's when they were from the factory :thumleft: PRIMO!

there is a way to figure out the flywheel from that but you need to have the engine deceleration to measure the mechanical drag then add that to the bhp at wheels to give you the flywheel bhp.........something like that, it's whats at the wheels that count's anyway

well done that man nice to hear figures from an n/a for a change thats really good 139bhp think new thay was 158bhp at the flywheel :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.
