Xbox Live Help - Logging On Via PC

Morning all!

I've just gone to the 360 home page and attempted to log onto my live account. It accepts my password etc, then it asks me for DOB and then seems to want me to set up a new account?

All I want to do is cancel my gold subscription but it's not giving me the chance.

Any idea's?

Why would you wana cancel your gold account mate? Once you've paid for it just let it run for 12months.

Because it's currently DD'ing my credit card £5 pm.
I wanna cancel that DD and just pay for 12 months.

Hell, I dont use it so might not even bother with that. I havent played a 2 player online game since COD 4 was new.

have fun trying to cancell it, if u find the option ANYWHERE on the web site or xbox itself then let me know.
i had to ring ms to cancel 3 of mine, BUT they did give me a refund as i didnt want it to re occur anyway.

its not that shocking is it really?

is there a sales product out there where you dont have to speak to the over persuasive sales team to cancel it?

i cant really think of any.

I don't care about the sales pitch as i'll probably get a 1 year voucher. I just don't want a fiver a month being charged to my credit card.
