[Mk2] [Turbo] Swapping boost gauge for volt meter ?

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket boost gauge ,and replaced the standard one with a volt gauge from an N/A ?
if so how do you wire the volt meter ,as im thinking of doing it next

at a guess trev i would have thought it would just be wired to ignition if you ask me, pick up a positive and negative and your igntion is the switch just a thought. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.

My car has had a NA to Turbo conversion and still has the NA clocks in. Maybe you could just switch your turbo clocks for NA or would the wiring on the loom be different??

Ive got some UK N/A gauges to fit but Im guessing the wiring to the gauge would be different ?

My N/A Clocks had the voltmeter in them and it worked as normal after converting to turbo. Dont have it anymore tho as I replaced it for the nice emspower gauge instead of that useless voltmeter.

i am thinking you would just need to wire it to positive and and earth feed trev as i guess they just act like a hand held volt meter anyways, will pop round and have a look with ya mate, missing playing with the MR2 now its gone lol

Ok mate .im taking the dials out at the weekend and fitting a UK speedo ,and taking the mileage back to match my car (after ive sorted the exhaust out)
