Passenger side ???

Gently stick an extension bar on the driveshaft joint and knock it.....

The driveshaft has a circlip in the spline section... shouldn't be a struggle to remove, probably the spine section creating some resistance !

i had no problem getting the driver side out, but i still cant seem to get the pasenger side out more than about 1cm.

i was going to just stick an extension through the hole in the differential, but there is a bar going through it. the thing just does not want to budge.

No no no... just clobber it square on... theres nothing that should be holding it in place... try a long extention bar against the closest CV joint... and belt that... should comfortably slide out...
