its obv a sticking piston in the caliper .tbh theres not much you can do apart from repair/replace the caliper :(

Sounds like a siezed caliper to me.
Remove pad, remove disc, undo caliper and try and free it up.
Replace if neccessary.

Yeah a Rowland says.

Not necessarily a sticking piston but the slider.

Take the caliper off and have a look, maye just need cleaning and worn parts replacing.

Maybe quicker and easier just to swap caliper though for a refurb, this company are good.

Don't need to replace it. Just overhaul it. Kits available from Camskill.com.

Caliper is a floating caliper has 2 sliders on it.

Take the caliper off you will see what I mean.

Caliper should slide off the slider very easily if it doesnt its likely to be siezed.

Have a look here.

http://www.mr2-tech.com/bgb/mechanical/ ... system.htm

Click on Front Brake 6th bullet point down the left and in the diagram you will see slider pins.

These possibly are the issue, there are rubber boots around and internal if any of these are perished dirt gets in and causes sticking.

slider? are you saying its just the slider? if it is you just need to take it apart , clean up the slider, removing rust, dirt etc. and refit useing lots of copper ease, make sure you dont break the rubber boots tho. or they will need replaicing.
