I bought mine off that guy... exchange rate is crap now though hmmm, will wait for some to come up and see how much they are.

The alternative is to get my centres sand blasted, what do you reckon?

Dont get them sandblasted. The wheel guys at work say to never get this done as it just creaters alot more work. Someone brought some sand blasted wheels into work for them to do and the blaster took about 0.5mm off the face of the alloy (the guy at work popped one of the weights off the rim and you could see the amount took off) and it left the wheels full of dimples that would have took hours to sand out or fill, what a mess they looked when they were painted, the owner didnt care as it was just a Saxo that he was wanting rid of

Well they come sand/bead blasted from the factory, RBMotoring polished the front face of mine though - it's all solid alloy.

Perhaps there's a less harsh option, is bead blasting finer?

dont know, all I know is they said they will never touch a sand blasted wheel again.

Oh and they have a sand blaster at work that the bosses bought them thinking it would speed the jobs up but ended up making the jobs twice as long

Im guessing their will be finer stuff, maybe the guy that did his wheels used rocks (thats what it looked like anyway)

What these guys dont know about blasting is not worth knowing, they do loads of classic car and aero stuff, should be able to give you an idea of what options there are And they are only in Aldershot.
