Post by tripod23 »

hi guys iv owned the rev 3 mr2 for 12 months great cars really like em,iv got a question the engine bay fan comes on when the engine is hot buts stays on and never really seems to have a cut off point. unless i turn the engine off and then turn the ignition back on sometimes it stays off and then other times it will be on.where abouts is the temp sensor for the engine bay fan located as im thinking its not working right. can anybody confirm this for me as its driving me mad........cheers guy kind regards simon

I think they can come on very early, as in they are quite sensitive. Althou it can be annoying. At least the engine is being fed with plenty of cool air! :)
Mite be wise to check out the sensor anyways just incase of a fault..?

The engine bay temp sensor is the same as the one plugged into your airbox so you could just switch them over and see what happens.
