buzzing noise from imobaliser

hi i just put a head unit in my mr2 and i disconected the battery before i installed it i then put then connecte the battery back up and the head unit works fine (fuzzy/no sound on the right? possibly blown speakers?)

but also when the cars turned on and ticking over theres a buzzing coming from the imobaliser and its reali inoying! lol

any ideas at what could of caused this and how to rectify it ?

Do you have the premium sound system?

If so you have probabley connected the speakers to the CD player amp where they should actually connect via a phono cable to the pre-outs :thumleft:

Ball ache to sort out. Easiest thing to do is bypass the amps in the car (which are old) not sure where they all are, have a search under electrics Mk2 for Stereo wiring. Should give you all the info you need :mrgreen:

cheers bud only strange thing is that it doesnt make the inoying noise when the cars not ticking over strange but ill have a search around :)
