Can we come to your tea party ??!!

My only gripe with york... low RWYB prices means... a whole host of car park dwellers catching in on the fun.. which is no problems.. except the control of it gets out of hand.. where you'll sit in ques and run 3 times at most some days !!

Leaving the Teesside area around 9 ish !! Wolviston services....

At York, cars usually start to run around 10 ish / 11 after scrutinising. See what the traffics like on the track before considering to run ! :thumleft:

Been down today JJ. The track looks quite slippy but was improving towards the end, so should be better tomorrow.

Cheer Pete ! My launching need practicing.. I'm either bogged down or sat in a cloud of smoke... #-o Again.. Ideal practising if reasonable track traffic... I'm after a milestone time for the overweight shed today if I can !

whos going then ??? come on nite owls whats happening ???

Great day out.. plenty of people about and good weather too.. not too sunny, not particularly hot, but ideal for the cars.

No photos unfortunately... I left the camera at home !! #-o

Quite a variation of cars, American muscle Ford Mustangs, Pontiac Trans Am's and some serious modified big blocks.....

Few GT4's, lodds of Type R civics and hot hatches putting down some good times too......

I stuck the MR2 in and entered the T class for 1800cc + with Nitrous and / or Turbo.

Only fitted the turbocharger the day before so fiddled with the map to stick loads of fuel in with a dumb ignition.. so made it safe under load.... plenty more to give in this heavy weight... ( full tank, trolley jack, tools, big a55 dead weight wheels, air con, cruise control, as it comes with a fully ladened GT-S with options from the factory )

Had the air con on the line at one point !!

In summary, I only achieved a 12.1 second pass @ 120 mph... 60ft times were a little embarracing..( its been a while ) Spin spin spin...anything between 2.1 - 2.3 secs !! But not too worried.. I was expecting 11.8's.... but I know a good start will plonk it firmly into the 11's... and tuning will stick it closer to 11.5 !!

All under 1.5/1.6 bar ( stock map sensor ) no 2 step limiter and Tesco's Go GO juice....... Primative Rev, drop the clutch, stick the hammer down ! :thumleft:

My interest was terminal speeds across the line.. which seems good to average... so improvement to be made over the course of the next few weeks !

Its unlikely it'll ever hit the 10s as its too heavy.. but it entertains me....

Just as an additional note, fitting the GT4088R has transformed this car along the road now to having even more punch than before.... which i thought performance was already on the limit for 1.5/1.6 bar !!

Be interesting to get a power run sometime on this current setup as it is really additive now !! :thumleft:
