[Mk2] [Turbo] Another overboosting problem

Post by G-force »

After flooring it, I'm hitting 1.4bar at 5krevs and then getting a fuel cut! This is at very low settings I believe. I put in the Greddy profec b spec 2 in today. had a blitz ebc which the screen was mashed so couldn't really see the numbers on it. but now I can see the figures with my greddy.

I used the following link for the settings: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... c+settings

My settings were as follows:

WARNING - 107kPa
SET GAIN - 72kPa
GAIN - 5%
SET - 30%

Even with these low settings, im hitting such high boost and getting fuel cuts. I tried it a couple of times but that was it, I didn't wanna damage anything.

I reduced the SET GAIN to 42kPa, and still hit 1.4b, but this time at 6k revs, didnt make much difference.

This was in both 1st and 2nd gears.

Any thoughts and help?

Try linking the solenoid out, I.E. just put a bit of pipe in its place and see what boost you're getting that way.

That'll rule out the EBC if you've got mechanical overboost or not.

Did you try what slarty said?

Put the greddy in OFF mode and see what boost it makes then.
