d'oh! bloody rev1 owners buyin stuff for their own cars!!

haha, cruise past me...I need to see a modified cosworth against a modified 2 I think before I agree or scoff at that comment. I have to admit though, the journey back from Thor should be very good fun I reckon we'll both have lost our licences before we reach knutsford..we need someone to come down with a video camera.

aye, should be fun that! you honestly think we'll get to knutsFORD?! ha, i'm not plannin on much further than 10 miles from Thor!!

thanks for all the opinions...people, I'm impressed by the lack of insults towards the ford (well almost )...it is a car I've always wanted and if it's in your blood you haven't got much hope. As Shaf mentioned all those other nice cars...to me they're 10 a penny, evos and scoobies (and this is where I insult some people) are like busted or mcFly....the cossie is John Lydon. er. yeah, that's what I meant to say.

Fair play to you mate. You may need to get this out of your system, but you will be back

Ok I've bin down the pub to mull it over (as you do) and I'm keeping the 2, I couldn't bring myself to sell it...ever I don't think. I've not come this far to not finish it and let someone else buy it and have all the fun! :(

But the cosworth is inevitable at some point, maybe not this one..but another one, sooner or later. Plus it's better to save up for a few months and have the cash to buy one rather than put a deposit down on one and then try and pay it off over a few months and knacker up my wallet.

Thanks again for the advice, see I've listened and everything 8)

So Stevo, next saturday I'll see when yours can be put in, then the following saturday me and thee will be there picking them up..then it's onto the toll road to be the first 2 cars to be nicked for speeding on it (maybe)

But on a side note, if I'm not capable of near time travel with all these parts fitted..the 2 is going. lol

If you have to sell the 2 Get an RX7 instead. Hotter and tarty-er than a fire at the mister kipling factory

FDs are nice...but don't fancy the rebuild costs every 40k or so ;)

My mate swears by 'em he's on his 4th now...not my bag though.

I'm in the Market for an MR2 Turbo. Got any pics, spec, price you want for it?

Personally, I prefer the Sierra Cosworth to the Escort, but I would keep the MR2 anyway. :D.

well I'm gonna keep my 2 for the time being :)

Here are a few pics, I posted em recently but can't find the thread. Spec is on here somewhere to. My problem is I don't think I could sell it...I tried a few years back and everyone who came to view it were baffled as to why it was up for sale. I just get itchy feet I think.
