[Mk2] [NA] Which exhaust.....

Post by __Nick__ »

Not been on here in quite some time, but have a wee dilemma that I hope some of you can help me with...

Failed MOT, needs whole exhaust system :(

So basically after a decent exhaust, figure whilst replacing might as well get a good un! Which begs the question....which one!!

Basically I need to get of one pretty quickly and amn't looking to spend a fortune. Preferably still twin pipe at the back, fairly discrete and not going to make my eardrums bleed! :oldtongue:

Any advice welcomed!!!!

Thanks in advance!

To be honest with you, your probally best off going for a mongoose/blueflame if you are after something that isn't going to make you scream due the sound of it, and with a cat on, should have no issues passing mot on emmissions and i believe from what i know these are quite reliable exhaust systems.

Me on the other hand, love my japspeed to bits, nothing like being mistaken for an aeroplane!

Thanks for that reply! Thinking of going with the blueflame!

Anybody got any comments on that before i do? :-k

Is £260 inc delivery a decent price for the system also?

Sounds a fair price to me. I love mine, just loud enough but not too boomy on the longer journeys. Look great too.
