Fooked Turbo ?

Post by Chris.L »

I have discovered small deposits of unburnt oil in my intake system in the pipework between the intercooler & inlet manifold.

Does this mean my stock CT20 is on it's way out??

i believe its not uncommon to have small amounts of oil as the breather runs back into the inlet side and would get carried through the turbo anyway :-k Hence why alot of people run breather filters off this to stop it from ahppening.

I may be wrong but i dont think you have anything to worry about, as long as it is small amount.

I take it you have no smoke on or off boost etc?? :thumleft:

I get a little bit of smoke on start up, thereafter nothing really at all on or off boost

So I should be ok :)

Light Grey if anything!

Some other posts on here suggest it could be turbo oil seals?
