My MR2 does it, and so did a Corolla I used to have, so i assumed it was an undocumented feature of Toyotas.

No, I'm bridging Tc and E1 to test the ABS ECU

Its the ABS ECU that i think has failed.

Im pretty sure the connection is ok, as i can get the Power Steering light to flash.

Its unlikely that the ecu went just like that.

Hi Paul,

With the terminals connected, the light remains on with no flashes which according to this is an ECU fault.

I'm just hoping the error codes have changed with the later ABS system, or it's one of the relays supplying power to the ECU.

It looks like the clutch on my N/A Mk2 is on the way out.

I've replaced the clutches on other cars myself, but what sort of job would it be on the MR2? Any problems etc?

And can you recommend a supplier of the Clutch kit, i would guest Toyota will be expensive.
