Re: Opinions please......
Many moons ago I drove a 20v Silvertop converted car. I know the Blacktop is a better spec. The ITB's sound really good, but if you're expecting it to be much quicker you will be a bit dissapointed as the difference is not huge between that and the 16v. I've driven a Blacktop 20V in an AE86. It fel...

Opinions please......
Now I know these are chalk and cheese but if you had the choice of the two and it was to be used as a daily driver which would you choose and why? 3VZFE/1MZFE or 20V Blacktop. Im thinking.... V6 wins for Sound/Torque but would it be worse if things go wrong and then are harder to sort as different ...

Could you shed any light?
Could you shed any light on this as you sell this item. You sell the pipercross viper induction kit for the mk1. On the listing it shows 84-86 version with air box in the boot and the 86-90 with the air box in the engine bay version. As far as I'm aware it should be the other way around with the 86-...

I'm thinking it's pipercross who've got it the wrong way around as everyone who has them for sale has them listed the same way.

Induction kit confusion
i was looking at the Pipercross viper intake kit for the Mk1, my confusion stems from there being two kits available. The first is for years 84-86 with air box in the boot and the second being for years 86-90 with airbox in the engine bay?? I thought that it was 84-86 that had it in the engine bay a...

Recommendations?
Howdy,

Can anyone recommend garages, paint shops and audio installers in the Norfolk/Suffolk area?

Garage's that are familiar with the Mk1 would be great, wish I lived near Woodsport or Pacific works then it'd be so simple!

Thanks

Lou

Welcome to the club. I run my car all year round, hence probably needing all the welding each year. I have never needed winter tyres, but to be fair if its snowing I do tend to go in the 4x4 instead, but otherwise, water, leaves, slush etc I have driven in it. A decent set of tyres should be suffic...

Hi Paul Ah awesome, I'll just order my wheels then I'll give you an email PM. With the wheels I just want them flush with the arches, I've tried to work it out on the calculators online but i'm still a bit confused by it all. The specs are 16x7.5 and I'll run 195/45/16's, what offset would give me t...

Just bought my first mk1!! It's been a long time coming :) Few quick q's: I'm going to be wanting a Buddy club rep lip and tom's scoop, where is the best place to get them. I wanted to do a kind of ram air type thing with the tom's scoop, think someone did that before when I googled it. Anyone here ...
