Ive got an issue that i cant rectify that's keeping the 2 of the road It started after i disconnected the battery to reset the std ecu ...... [Mk2] [NA] Alternator woes
Well our car started fine the other morning and the noticed it ......... 4 warning lights Battery oil level brake engine compartment fan I assumed that the rain had got into the alternator and fried the regulator Purchased a new regulator cos a new alt is out of my price range and guess what ..........

Anyone know if the stated compression ratios are static or dynamic ???
As far as i can see everyone lists the static (Ie rev3 NA 10.5:1, FI 8.5:1) and was wondering what difference there is between the 2
For Forced Induction it needs to be lower but how much ????
