I would get in touch with trading standards and see where you stand. If it were me, I'd have gone ballistic! I very much doubt the loom needs replacing, surely he hasn't done that much damage that it can't simply be repaired once the fault is diagnosed? Apparently TVR guy messed about with the fuse...

Maybe it's my age, but I've recently been having a serious hankering for an AE86.

Miguel at Newera is selling one of his now, but at £21k it's way above my budget.

Having said that, the AE86 is one of those cars you'd never want to part with.
