Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] clutch pedal problems

Re: rev2 turbo brakes

yeah to be honest the car looked a bit neglected when i bought it so brake overhaul is on the cards and maybe some bushes or balljoints as theres a knocking and it gets a bit wobbly going over bumps and stuff but seems to corner ok.
but its getting there, runs great

rev2 turbo brakes

whats peoples views on rev2 turbo brakes?
mine are spongy and lack any sort of bite.
is it worth upgrading or would new discs, pads, and fluid be enough for a car running close to standard.
i dont really drive it hard but do like the brakes to be sharp

Re: heavy rain and missfire

one thing i did notice was the plug lead wasnt that hard to pull out as if there wasnt much of a seal.
the car will be in my garage most of the winter anyway its just ive been doing few jobs on it lately so its been outside my house for a few weeks

heavy rain and missfire

went for a spin in my mr2 turbo the other night after we had all that rain and the car developed a missfire which let to it eventually dropping on to 3 cylinders for a few miles then back to 4 and working fine. anyway thought it must be linked to the weather so checked the plugs. pulled the first le...
