Well I'm *almost* there toxo, had a feeling it could well be the case of an incomplete swap, I never buy anything that just works...... :)

I'll be premium soon enough :)

Re: Newbie style questions [1990 Rev1 N/A]

Does not make any difference, cold, wet, damp, hot, bone dry, all the same. light tweak of the throttle and it will cut out, rev the bolts of it and it will cough, splutter, bog itself down a bit then spring to life, do that a few times and it will run faultless for the rest of the day as long as yo...

Chelmsford

White MK2, Rev 1 (H Plate)

Looked pristine, heading down Victoria Road at 08:20 this morning, turned right at the lights held up by a truck turning right long enough for me to *almost* catch up with it on foot :)

Re: Newbie style questions [1990 Rev1 N/A]

Thanks for the replies, plenty of food for thought and with parts selling like mad on the dead saab I should have enough surplus cash over the next few weeks to replace the whole shebang. TCB Sounds like a good place to go when I order everything I need :) One more quick question, Anyone running KV8...

Re: Regular Essex Meet - 2nd Thursday Of Every Month.

Do these still happen?

If so count me in for any/all of these meets, The Duke is where one of my friends frequents pretty much on a weekly basis, its about 10 minutes from mine and I've been going to Boss Hoggs on the interchange so long I have a tab when needed :)

Re: mr2 insurance

I need to move insurance companies, thankfully its up in a few months!

On an NA (Import) with 9+ NCB and at 37 mines gone up to over £470 fully comp, with the rear disc upgrade, alloys and air intake declared and limited to 5-6000 miles a year.

:( Esure = epic fail

Re: Mad Max MR2

Mad Max, The Punisher and far, far too many lights, I think I'd have to wear a Vader outfit to ensure I was not recognized.....

As mentioned though fair play to them for both doing it and saving the MR from scrap if they did but its still very

Re: Chelmsford.

FYI on the exhaust Baker, Its a standard tubby back box with a cut/shut welded on decat on a butched mid section with welds on top of welds... whoever did it even welded the exhaust mount in the middle of the back box 180 deg out so its useless.. Glad you queried it though, noticed I need to go shop...

Re: Chelmsford.

I did indeed, popped into the retail park on route elsewhere Weds afternoon, I try and stay out of halfrauds, I always spend far too much in there :) As to the make, not a clue at present but I'll be tinkering all weekend (weather permitting) so will see what I can find out and let you know, its hel...

Re: Chelmsford.

That is most likely me then :) Hi to all IMOCUK members! First time on any forum over the last 10 years I've ever been spotted  and this time before I get my first post in (must be the pop and bang - a bit too much for my tastes tbh). I'm on day 4 of ownership and have quite a few bodge job...
