Re: Greddy-Matt's Rev3 Tubby **forged engine in!**

Well thought I'd update this thread with the last pics of her, as many of you are aware I had few expensive hiccups after the new engine was fitted, the last of which was something failing in the gearbox/clutch region on my way to work one afternoon. Came to a roundabout and the car wouldn't move wi...

Re: XS Power Motoria Exhaust

Nothing wrong with Motoria Exhausts, had one on the Tubby running decent BHP, loud but otherwise a good exhaust, welds on mine are neat, fit is good too.

Then ther are 2 bolts on the reverse of the side vent in the wheel arch space, one at the top one at the bottom-make sure you use plenty of WD40 or similar because I had d...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What can I use to strip the paint off my ST205 chargecooler core?

Check out Camauto company on ebay they do self adhesive heat reflective foil in silver or gold (Uber pricey!) you can also use aluminized glass matting if you wish but it's a little more bulky. The do a 1 or 2 layer heat shield material also which you can bend pretty easy, its stamped to increase su...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] cams - when would a rev3 turbo...

Because you can infinately tweak them to get things just right, can also have them made to produce a desired effect on the engine characteristics. + While they are being swopped you can up rate the valve springs etc and up the rev limit. :D Expensive mod, but one to go for if you like tinkering with...

You use the velcro sticky patches mate and mount under the steering column you wouldn't need to, otherwise you could use bulet connectors and a vac hose joiner yeah.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Blitz SBC ID Spec R Installation

I mounted mine on a Plate down under the induction kit, just left of the charcoal canister. Can't miss it because there's what looks like a drop link/engine mount infront of it. The wiring ran up behind the firewall heat shield and into the cabin behind the firewall carpet (there is a gromet you can...
