Re: FINALLY - 720 BHP / 565 LB-FT

They are, that proves nothing though. A RR operator can give you any figure you like. You have been around for long enough, surely you understand over and under reading? I've seen RR graphs on many forums that simply look as if a kid has drawn them with an etch a sketch. I could name some optimistic...

620rwhp

Don't believe it but I will be happily proven wrong if it puts that down at SRR.

This has to be the highest performance ever, on any engine with a GT35r without NOS & on pump fuel. I can't find anything thats put out more than 650fly@2bar.

Re: FINALLY - 720 BHP / 565 LB-FT

720hp from a GT35r :-k No Nos? 2bar on a GT35r gives 650 on a 2jzgte and its getting out of its efficiency. Was it an American dyno? What was the RWHP figure? The car is going to be a monster, absolutely no doubt, but 720 from such a small turbo is ridiculous IMO. It's the turbo I really want and i'...

Re: Friends just bought an evo4 what should i expect??

Ha ha lmao, are you really still claiming that a v RS will out accelerate any other 280BHP? i think it stands to reason why mitsubushi binned the V as a rally car as soon as the VI was available  Any other 280bhp Evo, yes. Proven on track with independent testing. There was an artical on it i...

Re: Friends just bought an evo4 what should i expect??

Gear ratio's in the RS were for 60 > acceleration and i'm pretty sure it wasn't optional. My car topped out at 136mph redlining. *YAWN* as quoted in post 16 on this thread by moi, '1st and 2nd gear ratios are the same i.e 0-60 on the V and V RS 3rd 4th and i think 5th were shorter and car tops out ...

Re: Friends just bought an evo4 what should i expect??

Evo V RS was the fastest to 60 @280bhp with a 4.8 trap (actual test not manufacturer figures) so where u got 4.4 from i don't know. 0-60 5.5 http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/383/Mitsubishi-Lancer-EVO-IV.html Not sure how much you know about Evo's... I would suggest looking a bit deeper into those...

Stock Evo IV = 280bhp 0-60 4.4 secs 150mph, you can always tease her about crank walk though  Evo V RS was the fastest to 60 @280bhp with a 4.8 trap (actual test not manufacturer figures) so where u got 4.4  from i don't know.0-60 5.5http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/383/Mitsubishi-Lancer-EV...

Re: Friends just bought an evo4 what should i expect??

P.s.i didn't misread your post you just misunderstood mine

You must just be thick then because ur still quoting the 400bhp evo and not 280bhp variants. However, tune a V to 400bhp and it would p1$$ all over the FQ.

Re: MR2 Turbo for PX on an N/A

Good luck with the sale/swap mate, it's a great looking car :thumleft: I've often thought of downsizing to an N/A and save on the old fuel costs :oldtongue: Thanks :) Its not really the fuel to be honest. Its more to do with the insurance and the danger ;) The turbo basically doesn't get used anymo...

MR2 Turbo for PX on an N/A

Just posting to see if anyone would be interesting swopping their N/A + cash for my wife's MR2 turbo? Its the one that is in my garage for anyone interested. Basically she wants one that looks similar so aftermarket alloys and aftermarket bodywork. Obviously the cash changing hands will depend on th...

Pretty sure thats the american version is it not? The american cars were 205bhp. The only reason ours aren't 220 std is age and fuel.

Re: Was this copper an idiot?

I would have accelerated to 65, indicated, and went past him. However only if i wasn't in the MR2, if i was in the 2 at an indicated 60 i am already doing 60 so wouldn't push it. In most cars 60 indicated is around 56. Of course i would only have done this in a car where i knew how far out the speed...
