hmm.. that is the same exact Momo shift knob that came on my 1987 Shelby Charger GLH-S. I'll have to find the Chrysler part number for that. But it is the EXACT same shift knob.

I believe there is a nice 16 gauge steel firewall between the engine and the seat. Or there was the last time I welded on it.

We are doing another v8 mr2 using a 1986 chassis. This time we are not cutting the whole car up.

oh, and thirdly... my V8 Mr2 will be a track only car. I cant afford another street car with insurance and all. Plus I am out of street legal chassis that are in good shape Wife said no more cars

So yes, Paul will probably have the first street legal V8 MR2.

once the car is running we are having an intake manifold built to allow the use of 4 of these two barrel throttlebodies from a Chevy Camaro/Vette. 48mm venturies will provide enough breathing for each cylinder. Next week my MK1.5 will finally be completed. Then the V8 MR2 gets put into the new shop we have. Hopefully it will be driving in the spring
