Re: Whining Noise
I had this problem, it sounded like a cat crying in the engine bay lol, it would be very whiney in the lower gears and then fade a little when in 4th or 5th. Is your battery voltage thingy in the dash sitting in the middle of the white line? I thought it was the alternator at first but changed the a...

Re: How to remove Air Conditioning belt
Well got the new belt on and its running like a dream.

Very fiddly job to do with the lack of space and just when things where going well we found that the tensioning bolt on the alternator belt was missing lol, luckily it was just a case of finding another bolt that would fit.

Many thanks again

Re: Makes you wonder...
Hmmm i wrote this quite late last night and looking at it now i realise i may not have made it clear what i meant lol. On both occasions i was doing 65ish :) Anyhoo what i meant was how come the guy in the skyline who could have passed me no problem decided to hold back, never even tried to race... ...

Re: engine keeps stalling in the mornings after i've warmed it up
I have something similar happen to mine.

Whenever i drive somewhere and stop, if the engine is still warm when i go to start her up again then she will stall unless i give it a few revs.

Friend told me it could be a breather pipe has a leak.

Re: Caliper question
Hmm i replaced the original one with a second hand one, it worked great for the last 2 months.

Funny enough it was this precise problem that meant i needed mine replaced.

Have i just got unlucky again?

Re: Caliper question
Thanks for all the replies. Well yesterday was a nice sunny day so my dad and i stripped the caliper down and greased everything, bled the brakes and that seemed to free everything up. Took her out for a spin last night and the caliper was nice and cool when i stopped... happy days. However when com...

Caliper question
About two months ago i replaced my front drivers side caliper, it was working really well until one day i noticed the car feeling very sluggish. When i stopped the car i checked the caliper and it was hot, far warmer that the other side. I left it to cool down and when i came back to check it the ca...
