Re: Mk1a Sherwood Project - price reduced again to £200!!

OK - there has been interest in this but nobody seems so keen on saving it. Therefore, I have decided to have a go at breaking it. Never done it before so it will be a learning curve!! See the post in "MR2s being broken" - I will add parts as and when I can remove them. If anybody needs an...

Re: Mk1a Sherwood Project - price reduced again to £200!!

I have reduced the price to £300.

Somebody has offered me this so they can break it. Seems a real shame as you do not see many Sherwood Mk1s around.

Still - I have reduced my asking price to match this in the hope that somebody will come and buy it to restore.

Re: [FINALIZED] Mk1a Sherwood toning - project - ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED

Ideally I think it should be saved so have reduced my asking price to match it.

If nobody wants it then it will be broken.

Re: [FINALIZED] Mk1a Sherwood toning - project - ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED

Another bump :) I have had lots of enquiries on the car but no takers yet. I have a firm offer from somebody who wants to break her but that seems such a shame! Surely somebody wants to save a Mk1a Sherwood. They are quite rare and you do not see them all the time. It would be a real shame to send t...

Re: Mk1a Sherwood Project - price reduced again to £200!!

I know - I am hoping that somebody will take this project on. I looked long and hard for a project that was interesting.

I absolutely love the Sherwood toning colours - how many do you see up for sale!

It is parked up on my drive at the moment so I will give it time to see if somebody wants it.

Re: Mk1a Sherwood Project - price reduced again to £200!!

Thanks but breaking it really is a last resort.

Unless somebody buys it whole I will probably cut all my losses and just let the scrappy take it

Would be a real shame though

Re: [FINALIZED] Mk1a Sherwood toning - project - ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED

Major rust is on the front end. There rear arches are not great but the front is worst. No - it is clear for accidents - the previous owner changed both wings but I suspect used bad quality replacements! A panel is clean B pillar has rust at the bottom Sills look OK - not had it properly on a ramp. ...

Re: [FINALIZED] Mk1a Sherwood toning - project - ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED

The car has NEVER failed an MOT. The previous owners had a marriage breakup and the car was parked up and forgotten about. Engine is good - the previous owner had the head gasket done 500 miles OK. Starts 1st time but has not been driven for a while. Interior is in good original condition - seats do...

Is there no interest in this??

Seems a shame to scrap it as the car is a fairly rare colour mk1a.
