Just tried this, sprayed wd40 in the top nut and lt it penetrate then turned from lock to lock a few times and it seems to have freed up

Fair enough i'll give it a try over the next couple of days then if it comes to it just take the whole unit out at the weekend and order up a new top mount, wd40 or something thicker? It was suggested to me that the strut rod and top cup might not be aligned properly which could be causing my proble...

Checked this tonight and the spring is actually moving around in its bottom seat when turning the wheels, the spring itself doesnt seem snapped so i'm assuming this will be a top mount issue is there any way i can check with it still on the car? also are they generally regreasable or should i just g...

I recently replaced my track rod and track rod end, after visiting kwik fit and them basically undoing the track rod, i retightened it and adjusted the t/r/e as close as i could manually. However now i get a very loud knock when going from centre position on the steering wheel to full lock, only und...

I reckon you're right

After a bit of thinking about it that's exactly what i've decided to do, I am going to use the factory sub but probably wont wire in the rear speakers.

I'm changing the head unit in my car as a) it's crap, no bass and b) it's not been properly wired in in the first place. The original wiring block has been butchered at the hu plug end and at the speaker side of things too as the previous owner has wired in their own front and rear speakers bypassin...

Hello all, thought i'd better introduce myself.
Had a rev 2 a couple of years ago but on monday i just got myself another.

It's a Rev 3 n/a in carribean blue, needs a couple of things tidied up with it but it'll get there slowly!
