lol thanks mate, took me a year and a half on and off. moved house twice and had a baby in that time too!! yep standard rods as i am guessing they are good for plenty of power? what are you planning with your car? i am running it nice and gently, the more miles i put on it the better it runs :mrgreen:

thanks for the replies, well yes i was running too much boost when the first sensor went didnt just blow the sensor also did the headgasket and cracked a piston.
car is going back on the road soon will be running standard boost and ignition timing.

Going to go for a used toyota item :mrgreen:

cool mate nice one. just my turbo has eaten up two sensors already in the last 3 years, paid 107quid for a new one last time getting tired of blowing money on them lol

Hi there i need a knock sensor for my rev2 turbo looking to get a gm one, does anyone know which gm one is used? Like for which gm model of car? so i can find out how much they are.
seen them for sale on the gts chris website for 67.99 already machined to fit so they must be cheaper than this?

Hi guys, im rebuilding my rev2 turbo and iv removed the cams and marked them up, sent them off to be cleaned with a load of other bits and now my markings are gone. DOH!
Is there any way i can tell them apart clearly they are different from one another. Your help would be appreciated!!!

Hi guys im currently rebuilding a rev2 turbo, been off the project for a few years but back on it now. Im wondering where the vacuum piping goes for the VSV switch underneath the inlet manifold. Iv done all the tvis piping but no idea where the other vacuum piping should be going? my car has a forge...
