Please delete this - the Rev 4 ECU is for an NA! ;(
The ECU on my rev3 turbo has blown ;(
I may have access to a rev4 Turbo ECU though....
Question is - can a rev4 Turbo ECU (89661-17550) replace a rev3 Turbo ECU (89661-17460)
or is it more fuss than its worth?
Cheers guys
I'm not sure its identical - but I can tell you its perfectly possible to change the big end and main bearings with the engine in situ - PROVIDED the crank isn't damaged! Brian

See you at Lyndhurst at 8am
Past experience at this type of event is that you can NEVER be too early..

Hi again ;) Cut the thick red wire with a blue stripe under the steering column (if you fail to do this, you'll blow fuses and / or melt wiring). On some cars, such as mine, this wire might have a green stripe instead. Can you confirm the location of this wire - I cant find it lol - the only (thick)...
Thank you very, very much for this article - I came up with something similar - but got complete confused trying to sort out why the main beam indicator wasn't working! I managed to buy a new pair of BMAC LED headlights which I have now fitted to my MR2 - they are brilliant and as they only consume ...
FYI MR2 MK11 has a 55 litre (12 gallon) tank So at 114p per litre you are looking a @60 quid to fill it up.... The low fuel light should come on around the 5 litre (1 gallon) mark - giving you 20 odd miles to find a garage. Have to say I make a point of brimming my tank , and then running it down as...
the pub I was actually thinking of is the the Old Lock and Weir - which as it happens is right next to Chequers - they share the same car park - so no issue there lol The Lock and Wier Brian
