Im interested in popping over for this. Always like to check out other Mr2's but rarely see any on my travels! (and a good reason to take the 2' out)

Count me in :D

Re: Calling South East Owners (London, Herts, Beds Bucks)

Cool. 9 sounds good. There is a retail park (Halfords, toyrus, B&Q) one min from the venue which is easy to spot. I'll dig postcode out later unless you know Luton a little?

Re: Calling South East Owners (London, Herts, Beds Bucks)

Re: Aluminium front splitter - prototype made w/pics

Ive liked and toyed with the idea of a front splitter (always good to have a "project" to play with :D ) but what worries me is how strong does it need to be? At low ish (legal) speeds its prob ok but when you get well into 3 figures (on track Id point out - I share a track tubby) then I c...

Re: KILL THIS THREAD

245/45/16 fit on my 8j :-) - I had similare thoughts about improving fr/r balance with.tyre types but I think because each make has differing character in wet, dry, over heating, feel (also I not tried them all just - t1r, 452, so2, rs2) that its for me impossible to judge how far to go. It's easier...

Re: KILL THIS THREAD

I had a chuckle when i saw this post as I've had a go at cheapo rears/good fronts! (Joint track car so no road driving). The rears needed changing and I wanted to try for myself what a cheap tyre is like on the back (I got budget restrictions and sometimes you have to just try it yourself...).... on...

Re: Where to go for some track fun?

Dont forget that Bedford has one of the strictest policies on noise. Its 101db static and 86db drive by i think...... if you break this then they wont let you on again!! one strike and out. If you can visit the circuit they will test ur exhaust noise for free. Will give you peace of mind. Esp as you...

Re: Breakdown Cover

Ive seen mixed answers to this dilemma. Had the misfortune of breakdown at snetterton few years back and had no trouble when AA came out. Picked me from pits no questions asked. Car was standard though, complete with interior etc and of course i didnt meantion it was trackday. However another person...

Redrummo> You need to replace the nuts on your turbo studs with new ones, they're single use only and someone has reused them

Re: What exhausts pass track noise tests without a cat? Turbo

i have this exhaust fitted to rev3 tubby with downpipe :D Had it tested at about 98db (98.8 i think....) for a trackday at bedford. It was ok (just) for their very strict drive by limit too..... well it was until the downpipe to turbo gasket started to blow and they threw me off......... 3 of the 6 ...
