Just seen a red MK1 on the pedestrain crossing in St Neots. The reg was something like PO 11655 as I only got a quick glance. Driven by a lady I think,but was deep in conversation with her passenger!

Saw a nice black MR2 MK1 at Shuttleworth college, Old Warden on Sunday at the classic car show. D reg, with a for sale notice on it. Didn't see the owner, but looked a nice car.

Nope not me. White is a common colour isn't it!! Apologies to all other members who have white MK1's. I dinged my front on the gate post yesterday as someone coming round the corner wouldn't give me enough time to get onto the kerb and onto the parking bay. Grrrrrrr.

I was parked in Sainsbury's car park, going back to my car, when a lovely red MK1 pulled in. Couldn't resist going to have a chat, as we were parked about four cars apart!! Nice red F reg MK 1, well looked after and to improve matters, the owner was from the North-East originally!! Howay the lads!! ...

After a recent conversation about auto's, I would be interested to know, the difference in performance figures between a standard manual MK1 and an automatic? I assumed, the auto would be faster, but was told they are heavier (all automatic cars) so may not be as fast. Anybody any comments on this? ...

My partner has cruise control on his Omega and Jaguar XJS and says it's great when your on the motorways, specially in the Jag. We tend to need to tow a petrol tanker behind that, is it is a 5.3 HSE! Oh the joys. Thanks for the interesting reading to my question, IMOCers are a good bunch!!

I bought a set of books off e-bay, re the MR2 and reading through the handbook, it shows a cruise control on the indicator stalk. Anyone know about this, this is new to me and I am interested to know if it was the early models that had them, as mine, a 1989 certainly hasn't got one. Any information ...

Spotted a nice MK2 in lovely shiny black, H reg, in Matalan car park at Biggleswade this Sunday afternoon. Lovely condition mate.

This afternoon (Friday) near the Caxton jibbet, on the Cambridge road. Too busy talking, but I think the number was something like F726 ***? I had my blonde head on this afternoon, so didn't notice it till the last minute in the stream of traffic. Anyone on here?
