I had to drive it about a mile in 5th by the time i got it out side the house there was some serious smoke coming from the engine bay with the smell of clutch plate. The aa diagnosed the linkage this morning and got me going but by the time i got to work 20miles approx I cant engage gear again. But ...

It turned out to be the linkage, so Ive got that sorted. But in getting home Ive managed to trash the clutch

Is there anyway to adjust the clutch up??

Ive just checked out a "how to" on the mroc.

When your went did you lose all gears??

Cant select any gears other than 5th!!!!

Clutch seems to be working, but the gear change will only select 5.

Im hoping this solves the problem,

The front passengers side Is knocking real bad. Took it to a local garage and the Mot tester said it was the strut top mount! Prob end up being the spring but gotta start some where!! LOL

Whos the cheapest???

Can anybody tell me of a tryed and tested method for cleaning the oil from the coolant system. Im thinking along the lines of adding white sprits or gunk or something
