not wishing to promote any virus software over any other, but the Antivir one ....free for personal use is the best i've found and personally use it, and happy to recommend it to anyone.

larger throttle body on the TVIS plenum chamber doesnt cause extra weakness on the #2 and #3

toyota with the ST185CS (RC / Grp.A) used a bigger throttle body, with the later ST185 getting it as well, guessing late rev 2 also had it....

and closed loop only happens while the TVIS valve is closed, and very low throttle openings. ie max of 15~20%

better to use a zenner diode... and a resistor, that way your boost gauge will move exactl the same until you hit the 'overload' voltage of the zenner diode. the advantage of this, is you get the gauge working exactly the same upto the zenner voltage rating ( 4.3 volt one are normally whats needed. ...

yep, the little tank plummed inline to the tvis control valve hold a resivour of vacume. when low rev's often the inlet plenum is working under vacume ( not boost ) so the little tank gets topped up ( it has a one way valve to stop it going back into the inlet plenum. then when the ECU reckons thing...

they default to open, ie you loose bottom end torque like that. when the pipe or the electrical contact is open/unplugged.

or wire directly at the plugs that go to the ECU. closer, easier to do and shorter wires. since doing mine, i've seen the ECU in cold weather often decide not to use the tvis in its optimal role. the tuneable/mapable rev2 ecu that Jeremy is doing, production just about to start ( see thread index ) ...
