As the title, can anyone think of anything else? Anything thats i should change while its all out, that bit that always breaks or the bit you regret not changing.
Power goal is 400bhp+ should see a lot more but dont want to worry about blowing bits and pieces.
I'm also fitting coilovers, full bush set, full uprated brake set, etc.

samco aux hoses, i assume you are refering to:

water by-pass hoses aka hoses from hell:
2 either side of the oil water heat exchanger and one at the back of the block under the inlet manifold behind cylinder #4.

cometic HG insted of the HKS... HKS are a complete rip off!! cometic are £100 cheaper!

what cams you going to be using?

you will need an external WG and T3 manifold flange adapter for the turbo / WG.

Custom Downpipe.

255Lph fuel pump at least.

possibly oversized fuel lines.. im not sure how much oem ones can handle??

tbh for a gt35r, id be using 1000cc top feeds! otherwise go for a GT3076r (expecially if you only want 400bhp). even if you dont want to do that, you will need to modify the rev2 rail as they are rather restrictive.

arent 86.5mm pistons custom stroker pistons?? if so the CR's will be wrong.

Modification to the sump for the ARP mains to fit will need to be done too.

id slap in some Eagle conrods while its apart.. they are 1/4 lighter than oem rods.. will help with power / torque transfer.

Forget about the TRD thermostat.. they are worthless piece of poo!

Need to get fuel lines and conrods then.

basicaly,where the mains are taller than the oem bolts, on the mains cap nearest to the gearbox , the bolt heads fowl the sump. so it has to be cut out to make space and then re-welded up (obv)

being as your sump is steel, it should only cost u £15 to get it done.

Conrods ordered, struggling to find somewhere that does good fuel pipes. Demon tweaks have it but they're usually more expensive than other places.

I'd rethink the fuelling a little - add in another pump (A Bosch motorsport) as your main pump and use the intank to feed a swirl pot.

PS does anyone know if cometic do a MLS gasket for the rev 3?

Been looking at fueling and swirl pots. Whats the order the parts go in? fuel tank to swirl, fuel pump, fuel rail......? where do the other connections go on the pot?

i believe this setup if one pump fail, you will run lean and kill the engine

Yeah got my forged parts. Gonna take the engine out myself strip it down and get head flowed and bottom end sorted. Then rebuild it myself and throw it in. Never took the complete engine out of an mr2 but i've been working on these cars and others for years now. Just want to have everything ready to go in when i get the engine back, so if anyone knows any other bits to buy. Should make a list of this on here somewhere.

Set has all gaskets for the head. The hks head gasket is just an uprated head gasket
