[Mk2] [Turbo] Hayward & Scott S/S Exhaust!

Post by Scott Barton »

Had my new exhaust fitted today. Check out these pics! =P~

Old powerflow system

Fantastic bit of kit fitted by experts. They pre-fabricated the main sections and all i had to do was choose my exit pipes when i got there. They did, however, have to make a slight adjustment to the system to accomodate my aftermarket down pipe. All in all took around 4 hours to fit.

Tailpipe (sorry for the dirty pic... )

Exhaust now sounds much deeper on tickover and on the way home, at full chat, the noise was incredible! Turbo is spooling up a bit quicker now as well, the boost is climbing much quicker. I nearly wet myself! lol!

Bit louder than my old powerflow system, at tick over it burbles really nice. :thumleft:

Result Scott! You da man!   Hey where are they? Why do they prefer the system through over the top of the axel location? [Does it not make contact or contact noise at all?] Can they do down pipes to include a complete system exhaust and or just the exhaust itself? Glad you kept your bumper and custom made the pipes! Nice one dude! :D

Bit cheeky - but how much did it cost you? I've been hearing lots of good things about H&S and have thought about it :?:

Have not had a chance to check it out yet. The M25 was a bit busy on the way home. O:)
Definitely feels more punchy though.

Not the cheapest option for sure. But i was limited on choices due to my Autopista bumper. It was £500 Plus VAT.

Not bad at all, I thought the twin pipe may have added more on. My H&S single exit was £528 inc VAT
