If you dont know its to do with the bellow thread

It is to do with a short on the bus behind the clocks, where there has been a wire soldered to repair the bus after fitting the boost gauge in the factory position.
I can wiggle this wire and create the problem I get.
If i disconnect the blue plug in the back of the clocks and wiggle it, it works great
