Ive had the car
(and it has been in the family) for the last four years and Ive had some great times with it. It was originally bought as a fun third car for occasional use and trackdays, but has been used as a reliable daily driver for the last nine months by my brother in law. New family arrival means no more trackdays and so it is difficult to justify keeping it as a third car. Car was bought in April 2004 and been in the family since

- Sherwood Toning Metallic Green / Gold - Mk1a early 4A-GE, with lighter bottom end and more rev happy than Mk1b- Magnex Exhaust (worth £380 new alone)- JR Intake Filter - Sunroof - Thatcham Cat1 Clifford Concept 300 alarm- 50% brighter front headlamps bulbsWork recently done:
- Top end rebuild and new Head Gasket January 08, 6k miles since and been running fine. Full set of pictures documenting rebuild available - Uprated Exeedy Clutch, gearbox oil Nov 07- New Coolant Jan 08- New water pump Feb 07- New Alternator March 07- Later Mk1b front brakes and disks, Jan 07 - Replacement NSR calliper Nov 07, new handbrake cables- Run on Mobil 1 since 1998 - Recent rear tyres - Box full of history and receipts going back to 1998 including Toyota / Westfield Motors The Good:
- Mechanically maintained fastidiously for road and trackday use.- No 5th gear gearbox popout, no movement in gear selector- Rolling roads have shown engine output around 120 130bhp The Bad
:- This isnt a concours condition Mk1 and suffers from the usual Mk1 rust:- Bubbling around rear arches, top of windscreen. - Small scratches on most panels- Lacquer and Paint is bad on OSF wing - Small dent on NS of bonnet, Drivers door (due to Nick ...!)- Some noise from the rear driveshaft CV joints on load ( have replacements ready to fit )- Oil is leaking through the distributor shaft have the repair kit with new seals but have not yet fitted Spares with the car
- New rear Driveshafts and hubs - New Drumstick steering rack end that goes between steering rack and Balljoint on wheel hubIt is going to be going up for sale on Pistonheads, Bookatrack and eBay.
