All depends which V6 you're talking about supercharging.

This is what you want... look how many cars it's for:
http://www.rotrex.com/Home/Supercharger ... /Kits_Cars
Alfa Romeo 156 3.0 V6 would be nice!!!
Always wanted one of these kits. Cheap too.

That's misleading, that site only offers the SC units, not bespoke fitting kits for individual cars, in other words you'd end up buying a Rotrex with no brakcets, pipework or plumbing.

Here is a full kit:
http://www.power-enterprise.co.jp/rotre ... _mr-s.html
More kits:
http://www.rotrexsuperchargers.co.uk/Ro ... s2000.html
Check out this RS4 with a kit:
B7 rs4 fitted with a TTS performance Rotrex supercharger kit, installed and mapped by MRC tuning. Car is running around 620bhp and 630Nm. This run was 11..88 @ 124.07 mph. We actually managed an 11.71 @ 124.76mph but unfortunately didn't video that one.

Re: supercharged v6 what supercharger and were from
I'm not talking about just pipework, what use is a Rotrex unit if you can't bolt it to the engine, no brackets for it, no tensioner assembly, no longer belt, no air bypass assembly, no boost control and nowhere to actually fit it?
They are JUST supercharger units, not kits, a bit of pipework isn't going to install those.
Also there is very little space around a V6 to install a Rotrex, there are only two options unless it is run off a jack shaft, one is below the alternator and the other is just above the OS driveshaft, both areas are incredibly difficult to run intake and outlet plumbing to, believe me if it were that simple i would be the man doing it.
TRD produced the M62 unit in a special bolt on housing for the 1mz-fe engine, that is the only engine this charger technically "fits", i developed a ISCV adaptor body to allow it to fit a 3vz-fe engine with plumbing mods, but even then the TRD unit has serious drawbacks and limitations.

Seeing as we're editing, that's a Mk3 kit, for the stock 1zz engine, there is no Rotrex kit for a Mk2 Mr2 with a V6, it all has to be custom made.

They are all full kits.
Just select an engine with a kit.
Has he already picked an engine?

Ok, find a complete bolt in Rotrex kit for a Mk2 V6 (any type of V6 you like) and i'll give you a million pounds..... go!

+1 to everthing Paul has said!!
Please don't even consider buying one of those Rotrex superchargers unless you intend to change the entire shape o the engine bay - it simply won't fit. Even if it did fit you would have a complete mare trying to mate any of the parts to your engine!
I did a lot of research into this before I started down the V6 conversion route as I wanted the optiont to be available in the future. The only proper way to do it is to get a TRD supercharger.
For the best set up you want a 1MZ-FE (ideally VVTI) and then a TRD supercharger however none of that comes even remotely cheap and nor does the labour
My best advice is to speak to Peter or Paul for their best advice if its a conversion that your serious about

You're only real option is to try and find a 1mz TRD unit and bolt that on with my adaptor body, OR a scion TC vortec unit can be made to fit but it costs an absolute fortune to do.

It wouldn't matter which V6 he chose to be honest, there is no Rotrex kit for any of them in a Mk2.

Have you considered saving and getting a 2GR?
You certainly wouldn't get a supercharged 1MZ VVTI for anywhere near 4k

Re: supercharged v6 what supercharger and were from
Alan to be honest that sort of budget is only going to get you a stock 1mz-fe V6 install, you'd need to double that to supercharge it with a NON TRD unit.... the Scion TC Vortec is the "easiest" route but still a big build.

Re: supercharged v6 what supercharger and were from
I would be very impressed if you could get the VVTI in on your budget
A standard 1MZ maybe
A supercharger ... double your figures
Once you then start adding non stock items, modifying, LSDs etc... it will mount up a lot more
