Right changed the oxy sensor for Mark's old one out of his SC that went pop. Voltage readings even smaller, so not sure if that one might be worse. Swopped them back again.

Paul Woods has come to the rescue and is sending me an oxy sensor for free(!). Cheers Paul :+:

Did an MGP calculation, 27mpg, which actually is fairly livable really.

And in related news Tom got the whole 'AE86 thing' after a good old test drive. I also did a bit of driving and Mark came too. Found with Mark in the back it really did make the rear end harder to unstick, so only minimal naughties on the roundabouts.

Was just putting a bigger washer on a bolt to hold the undertray up and noticed that the front struts have RCA's. :+:

In other related news, brakes have all been ordered, from three different suppliers, what a PITA. So far have rear discs, just awaiting the rest. :+:

Have come to the conclusion that the aircon could be better. It's struggled today as it's just not cold enough. Am currently looking at the options as I know it is an R12 based system. There do seem to be alternative legal refrigerants I can use, so have contacted a local-ish company that does classic Jags etc, see what they come back with.

In related news, had Sy pop over today in his new R33 GTS-T, so I was keen for a ride in that (I'll have a go next time when he's got the boost issues sorted), so Mark and I jumped in. 15 minutes earlier I took Sy out in the AE86, figuring that this was the last passenger ride I was giving around the industrial estate and what with Sy being pretty handy behind the wheel I thought I had better make an effort.

Anyways, I guess I must have because Sy took us on the same route and Mark spotted a fair few black lines that had been laid down. Oops. Temptation got the better of me I think.

OK, so I have to ask. Why is Indy's right ear shorter than his left? Poor old pooch.

Totally worth it though! Thanks for posting the pics. Quite upset that I couldn't make it.

What's the silver car with white rear end next to the AE86s ? Is that an S13?

From what I can work out it's a bit of a magazine online featuring Japanese cars, with good photography, interviews, vids and the like.

Have had a nosey round and there is some interesting stuff on there as well as some nice photography.

I guess it's orientated towards drifting and the like and there are some famous snappers on there and contributors world wide.

There are also some very cool cars on there. Worth a look I think. :+:

Probably the biggest international blog / website thing dedicated to cars and car culture. So to get on Speedhunters is frankly amazing!
