This kit is basic but effective. In the kit is a 3 way switch with a cable already attached. The cable has two ends. One with a male spade connector and the other with a female sapde connector.
The other cable is short and has a male spade connector one end and a female connector the other.

Basically the best way is to locate the switch 1st. (sorry for the pic quality)

I used a little blanking plug in the centre console. There was one each side of the console but naturally it's the drivers side I chose.

The I located an area in the bulkhead to route the cable. I found it in the passenger footwell where the alarm wire for my alarm was routed already. So I made the hole bigger and routed the cable through it. I then taped down the plastic blanking sheet that was blocking the hole. So it's all nice and flush. (No pic of this).
From the switch, you are best to route the cable round the back of the centre console. Thread it through and collect it from the other side. Route the cable through the aforementioned blanking hole (as per above) and take up the slack.

Remove spare wheel and plastic shroud to see the cable and of course the fuse box.

remove the green 30amp fuse. this is the rtr mtr as labelled in the fuse picture on the back of the fuse cover.
rtr mtr means retro motor. this fuse enable the lights to pop up.

What you then need to to is find the live point contact. when you take the fuse out it will be the left hand side where the fuse prong was. the rightside is earth.

Now.
The 2nd small cable in the kit comes into play.
As you can see from the pic it has a male and female spade connection. Plug the red male into the live (left hand side) prong in the fuse box.
Now take the male spade connection from the cable you threaded through your bulkhead and attach this to the earth prong in the fuse box. Your now left with 2 female connectors. plug in the short wire 1st, then the 2nd wire.
NB. make sure each connection is not contacting the other as this may cause a short.....

This pic shows the two male ends in the fuse box and the female ends connected to the fuse. Tape it up carefully avoiding bringing the contacts together.

Make sure you either chop down the cable to a suitable length (in which case you'll need to new spade connections again to reattatch or locate the cable excess in a suitable place. I taped mine to my alarm wire and tucked it around my washer bottle.

The kit instructions aren't that good. but it's real easy once you work it.
with the switch in the up position normal lights operation is intact.
put the switch into the middle setting to operate the sleepy motion.
to do this you switch on yer lights on the dash and then push downwards on the switch. the lights raise more, the longer you push the switch down.
voila.
to ressume normal operation of the lights flick it back to the up position.
