Castle Combe Open Pitlane Trackday - 28th April

Planning ahead for the next trackday - Pete and I will be going to Castle Combe on the 28th April. It's an open-pit format, 100db noise limit, and being run by Javelin:

Castle Combe isn't too bad for beginners really. Quarry can seem daunting, but only if you drive badly

Do you know what the noise regs are? it says 101db but it's that at idle or at 5000rpm?

That's at about 5k rpm. You'll be fine unless you have a complete nutter exhaust - IIRC JD's exhaust (Mongoose?) was about 88db.

My mongoose was 95db last time it was measured at castle combe...

I did a test with the spl meter app on my iphone, 5000rpm was about 94 db. Although that was inside a building, so it may be a bit quieter out in the open.

Its not a very loud exhaust, probably the quietest ive owned and my previous ones werent that loud. No nurspecs or japspeeds for me!
