Dave

I've bought a rev3 head this week, just looking for an inlet manifold now. Going to get everything ready and do it over the winter whilst the car is sorn'd. Also looking for an alternative chargecooler to the ST205 as evrything I've read seems to point to that being near its limits now. I want to try this engine on the 1/4mile as it is, then at least I'll be able to make a comparison before and after the work.

great mate and look forward to your writeup on before and after mate :thumleft:
As for chargecooling, the pwr barrel chargers are great units from what ive read and are bootmount so look nice and neat, pricey and not far from rogues unit.
Failing that alot of guys running big power like youreself tend to go bootmount which again has great non stop results and you dont have to cut your boot to pieces
keep me up to date though bud, as i look forward to seeing just the gains for going rev3 head etc :thumleft:

hopefully you will have it ready for the nxt one

And marf, look forward to your 205 install mate, you made great power for the modifications already on so should easily be hitting 300s within the next few months :thumleft:

cheers guys

I will hopefully be up for the next one. Should have different clutch & flywheel going on and also hopefully a 1.8bar remap with a bit of tweaking around the fuel when boost comes in.

Careful with timing etc. 5/6months will be touching new year. Pockets are generally a bit lighter and also some cars will be off the road. Its a tricky one really, don't think there is an ideal time for them. One of those things where you're not going to please everyone. But those that can make it I'm sure will, and those that can't will have to wait till the next.

Either way, I hope to be there. :thumleft:

I won't be doing the head swap on mine until christmas, going to use it while there's a chance of some good weather, and pull it apart over the winter. If its together I can always tow it up again though. About March next year would probably be better.
As you seem to like organising things, how about a 1/4mile meet? :D
