if its basecoat silver ( highly likely) and does not have any shine it will require laquering :thumleft:

now i feel totally and uterly cack...

but it is now laquered and pinstriped and i love it so pleased with the outcome......

not perfect but i am happy

now to fit the brakes give it a dam good clear and jobs a goddun

got its orginal wheels on till next weekend :)
just been out in it and love it
love the way the paint came out

what do you reakon??
oh and fitted my new rear brakes soo much better now they not stuck

still not perfect no where near but i am well pleased..
need to tcut the white at teh weekend but just about there now :)

I have some stuff i can lend you that will do the Job 100x better. are you coming to the Duxford show on Sunday?

hi ya.. nope i'm not :( wish i was...

i am was not going to use T-cut.. never have never will i normal use autogym restorer or is it renovator..

what waht have ya got :) very kind of ya..

saying that i have no plans for sunday may have to look into this wheres the details??

The Autoglym Paint renovator is Highly abrasive and is really only suitable for cars that have been very neglected. For the White from the pics i would got with the Megs 3step route. I have a couple of bottles i can decant out enough for you to do your car and Also a bottle of something called Poor boys White Diamond which is a show glaze for white cars. really will make yours stand out.

I made the switch from autoglm to megauiresa a long long time ago as i found that auto started becoming very hard to remove when waxing etc...

i do have the 3 step system at home i was just going to use the autoglm to see if it had got better....
ill stick using me meg's then ill do the 3 step i gave it a meguires clay bar yesterday too

no problems Do the 1st two stages Paint clean and Polish but dont wax untill i have given you the show glaze. :thumleft:
