My Collection

Post by waynestoyotamr2 »

Hello!

Finally got round to photographing, and properly organising everything in my MR2 Model collection (excluding books, brochures etc....)

This is just the toys - I thought a few other fellow collectors on here might be interested in my collection?

I thought I had some unusual stuff but Wayne's got me on everything .. except one:

I've only ever seen two of these and I bought both....

There's a lot of collectable stuff on Yahoo auctions. Some of it makes silly money, but the guy offering a TOSA Mk1b for #150.00 has to be the ultimate optimist.

Yeah the collection is amazing. I've been after just ONE plastic model kit for ages ( I know they are on ebay pretty cheap ), I'd like to build it though not just collect/store it :)

the cars in this picture:

I have, I found them in very cheap 12 packs of cars in Poundstretcher I think, posted about that a few years back. I think there were 4 mr2s in each pack but they weren't the best quality (ie not very accurate and halfway down turned into black plastic) but they were a cool find nonetheless. I bought 5 packs so have loads of them around (ok I think they are up the attic now ;) )

Alan! Good to hear from you! Long time no speak.

That really is a rare piece, must admit, you do have me on that one!

Would love that to be part of my collection! ;-)

Nice! :thumleft:

Got quite a few of those...but not all. :)

The one thing I've got I wonder if anyone else has - a Toyota MR2 MK1 Watch with the eagle on - anybody else seen them? NEVER come up for sale, got mine from Japan about four years ago.
