[Mk2] [Turbo] Need to know if these wheels will fit now!!!!

Hey peeps

I have the opertunity to buy a set of 17" alloys but am unsure of the offset clearance issues.

The wheels are:

8" front with 32 offset

9" rear with 32 offset

Please help as need to know now!!!!

I had a 9.5" with 35 offset test fitted to the rear with a stretched tyre and it was fine....

So hoping a 9 with a 32 will be better!!

Its the 8" with 32 that i'm worried about!!

That front will just stick out I think. I've got an 8" front with et38 and thats completly flush.

I will probs put on a 205 and adjust the camber slightly to get them to clear

u can get 8" with 35 offset the evo fitment on the front but it looks odd if u ask me it stick a little 2 far out

do u realli wana b running stretched tyres on a 220bhp mr2 stretched 2 me is bout euro style. u wont b hitting corners quick with stretched tyres

I've got a 205 on and i'ts really streched, still catches over bumps but doesnt stick out so its legal.

I'm gonna roll the arches a bit then go 225/45/16 front with 245/45/16 rear, Or I might machine the front wheels down a bit to increase the offset.

You can see how stretched 205 tyres are on an 8" rim here.

I ave had 2 sets of wheels with an 8" front using 215s and there has been plenty of grip....

These advans come with 215/40/17 fronts so i will see whether they clear or not.....

May need an arch flare and a lip roll but its about £80 for both front arches for me

I found these with 4 good tyres for a silly price so am letting the 16s go

Luvin the buddy club P1s but these will look awesome with a greddy lip and sideskirts

these are my new wheels 8 x 18 +32 front with 225 35s no rubbing




rear is 9x 18 + 32 fits perfect
