My Mr2 Rev2 Gt-s Turbo Its no show car but I love it.

Mod: CT20B, MBC, CP forged Pistons, Cometic Headgasket,Arp head stud kit. TRD LSD, TRD engine mounts, Lowerd 30mm, Blitz Nur spec R Air Impulse 2 induction Kit. Rays 17x8 et 32 and 17x9 et 38 rims running good year eagle f1's. Carbotech Ax6 front and rear brake pads.

Original car, Had to change the wheels to my Rays versus SS6's 17x8 and 17x9.

When I first got it, I bought it with my heart and not my brain so of course it turned out to be a bit of sh1tter. Past owner told me the engine was in great nick and the paint work was sucky, something I could live with turned out it needed everything doing.

Taking it to my first rolling road day discoverd the problems only hitting 159whp :(. One compression test later showed it was in need of a rebuild.

Decided If I was going to have it apart I may aswell treat it to a few goodies, so ahead I went with CP forged pistons, Arp Head stud kit and a cometic Head gasket. The actuator on the ct26 went down the toilet and was giving me random boost so decided to change to a ct20b at the same time.

With the engine run in I decided to up my boost to 1bar and enjoy my new engine, the car now pulled like I thought it should and made all the right noises I wanted.

I decided it was time to face my fear and see if my time and money spent of fixing her was worth it or if I should of binned it. I was more than pleased with my result at the next rolling road day done in december 07. I managed 282Fly 258whp. Only problem was my car was running very lean, so I turned down the boost and proceeded to change my fuel filter for the time being untill I work out if I should buy a Link ecu or just go for the standard rev3 ecu injector upgrade.

I was getting tired of the weak look of the Blueflame, so when I had my chance I bought a blitz Nur spec, and have not looked back since. No pictures im afraid but a quick lil vid

Future plans is maybe sort out the fueling so I can run 1 bar of boost, and maybe upgrade the turbo.

Nice. Good story too. Sucks from a financial point of view, but you can't help it sometimes. In hindsight, i wish I'd looked around and not bought the first car that I saw, but meh, its got me where I am now and I'm happy with that. :thumleft:
