Hi guys.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Mk1 SC owner here, I've got to get my front wheel bearing sorted for the MOT in the next couple of days.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I have a blueprint wheel bearing kit that has the bearing, some grease and a new ring/seal.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
In the BGB it shows also a new
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"inner race" and
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"o-ring" for the hub seal.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I was planning on taking it to the local garage
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(the steering knuckle) to get them to swap it over
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- will the contents of that kit be suffice? Maybe they have generic o-rings if need be I guess but this is NOT MRT we are talking about.

Also, as many people have taken just the hub/knuckle to a garage, is this generally with the rear hub cover on
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(the one that the BGB suggests taking a hammer and chisel to) making it a two part removal process for the garage
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- or have these people stripped it down completely ready to press in
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
/ out.

The problem is I have no vice.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
and little time!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I have lowered my suspension and done and engine swap before
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(both on my own) so I know a couple of things about mk1s
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
-
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
but have been out of the MR2 loop for a while and feel rusty
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(no pun intended) on the mechanical side, and I know virtually nothing about wheel bearings except for what I read in the BGB.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
cheers for any advice.
