Will be gutted if JAE doesn't happen this year! My Girlfriend and myself have been to the last 2 and we enjoyed it so much I never imagined there not being a JAE. We shall keep our fingers crossed.

And TOTB ;)

Maybe someone should rent a field near TOTB and have a big show there on the Saturday, camp over and then go to watch the racing the next day?

Yeah totally, fully apreciate that one.. was a bit of an odd one last year for me.. won't go into why, but was a bit all over the place!

Will still go if its on this year tho, the year before rocked (well, what I can remember of it!)

We always used to camp over on an old cricket pitch about a mile down road from entrance to TOTB, just behind the new med centre.

Getting a field rented or area in camp site would be pretty cool though!

Another forum I'm on we usually book a cheap travelodge for one day shows.. did it for Trax and it was great a load of us staying there for the night and having a bit of a p1$$ up! Just don't expect to be able to stay there again

Worked out about £25 each for the night (based on 2 people sharing a room)

Just had attention drawn to this thread, blimey it had completely passed me by. Amazing. Wondering where else they could possibly site it, a track maybe?? Trouble is it is far too big for Billing nowadays. TBH there are so many little 'clublets' nowadays it's hard to fit them all in.

TOTB idea, yeah LOL trouble is York is MILES away from most of us. That's the trouble really, whatever they do it needs to be central.

Maybe Bruntingthorpe would be a good venue

loads of grass for camping, acres of tarmac for traders, plus track etc, plus already hold other large-ish events.

There was talk that they would do away with these little clubs, Like last year if space was a problem,

I reckon they should do away with the delica owners club it was those swines which chewed up most of the grass and JAE org got fined £££.

Michael,

lol I've got my fingers crossed that the badger beer will make it to a JAE this year.... if not though then the badgers will have to venture north to the skye trip. Maybe even France
