Whats your settings and what boost are you running?

55% SET
12% GAIN
0.9 bar SET GAIN
smooth boost in and no spikes....i prefer the boost to come in a tad slower to illiminate the initial boost spike...hense the 0.9bar set gain..
if your using psi, then obviously this figure with be 13psi on the control unit.
LOW settings, never really use it, lol...
